Women's Retreat on the Prairie
June 5-6, 2009
7 p.m. Friday to 4 p.m. Saturday at Turtle Rock Farm
This retreat will take us back to the prairie, to learn its history, from ancient beginnings as an ocean, and its ecosystem. We will set up camp (bring a tent - or stay in our indoor accommodations) and experience the vast night sky and the life of the prairie. We will come away, having experienced more intimately the prairie ecosystem of which we are a part, with the wisdom that only the prairie can offer and a deeper understanding of how to live in harmony with God's good creation.
